About the swell handle bowie
This is one of my base profiles in the bowies family. Use the outline as it is if it suits your build, or open it in the editor and spend a little time getting the dimensions and handle how you want them.

Files and editing
- Ready to print
- Actual-size A4 and US Letter PDFs for each size, with a 100 mm ruler and labelled seam lines when the drawing spans more than one sheet.
- Editable profile
- Open any size in the editor to adjust the outline, tang, holes and dimensions. No account needed.
- More output formats
- Use the editor for PDF, SVG and DXF export, other paper sizes, and a design file you can reopen later.
Printing it
Print at 100% or Actual size, never Fit to page, and measure the 100 mm ruler on the sheet before you cut anything. The sheets are labelled where they join: trim along the marked seam, line up the drawing where it continues, and tape them together. The print guide has the details.
Changing it
If it is not quite the knife you have in mind, open it in the editor. You can type exact sizes or drag the outline, reshape the handle, add pin holes and a bevel line, then print it or export a PDF, SVG or DXF. No account needed.
